North Polk Schools Reroofing

North Polk Schools has two elementary schools, one in Polk City and one in Alleman.  Both schools were built in 1980, and Tim Olson was hired to design additions to both schools in 2000.  In 2012, Tim was hired again to provide design services and construction administration for re-roofing the original buildings at both campuses.   The High School Gym was also in dire need of a new roof.

NORTH POLK SCHOOLS ADDITIONS & RENOVATIONS to MIDDLE SCHOOL and WEST ELEMENTARY

North Polk Schools has experienced considerable growth in the past 10 years, with Polk City ranked the 3rd fastest growth rate of Communities in the State of Iowa by percentage. The District identified two facilities in need of additions and renovations: the Middle School located in Alleman and West Elementary located in Polk City. ETHOS Design Group was engaged to provide design services, including new classrooms at West Elementary and a new Media Center and offices at the Middle School. Both projects also involve complicated remodeling efforts, including kitchen expansion and renovations. Construction began in April of 2017 and is slated for completion in September of 2018.
